Filippo De Angelis elected member of EURASC

Filippo De Angelis (CNR-ISTM, Perugia) was elected member of the European Academy of Sciences (EURASC)

in April 2017 for “the outstanding contribution to science and technology”. The certificate of membership was delivered to him on October 27th in Lisbon, during the symposium  “The Future in Science in the 21st Century : Science and Technology for the better future of Humankind” organized by EURASC.
Filippo De Angelis’ research activity is focused on computational modeling and simulation of materials and processes for new generation photovoltaics, such as dye-sensitized solar cells and hybrid perovskite solar cells. This activity is carried out in the context of various European, national and industrial projects and it constitutes part of the DSCTM project area “Computational modeling”, which is coordinated by De Angelis.
