As part of our EU presidency, BELGIUM will gather the wider community of stakeholders in the EU defence industry in a conference for senior experts.
This will be an opportunity to exchange thoughts on the practical implementation of the " European Defence Industrial Strategy " (EDIS) and to generate ideas for concrete steps towards a modern, strong and resilient " European Defence Technological and Industrial Base" (EDTIB). In parallel, an exhibition of national industries and research institutions will be organised, to illustrate the "Belgian Defence Technological and Industrial Base" (BE DTIB) and its potential to strengthen the EDTIB. The event is also intended as a networking opportunity for national and international players with the aim of stimulating more collaboration among stakeholders at EU level. Both events are being organised in close collaboration with BE Federal Government services, BE Regional Authorities, BE Industry Associations and relevant EU bodies.
